The Unity Heart Biodegradable Urn is designed to biodegrade in the ground. This attractive urn is produced from the bark of the mulberry tree using a technique that allows the mulberry bark to be harvested without harming or destroying the tree. The bark is dried in the sun and results in the textured paper used in these urns. No trees are cut down to produce the Unity Heart Biodegradable Urns

Since these urns are made from natural and sustainable materials, each may vary slightly in size, shape, and appearance. This urn is considered adult size to extra large size with a capacity of 240 cubic inches (can hold the ashes of a person who weighed 240 lbs. or less prior to cremation).

A water soluble bag is included with the urn. Cremated remains are placed into the bag, then into the Unity Heart Biodegradable Urn.
