Adult Urns

Adult cremation urns are sized to hold the ashes of one person. Adult sized urns for ashes can be made of any material such as brass urns, marble urns, wooden urns, and more. A general rule is that adult size cremation urns hold about 200 cubic inches of ashes (the ashes of a person who weighed up to 200 lbs. prior to cremation) although some adult size urns have a capacity as high as 250 cubic inches. Urns for ashes for adults also are referred to as standard size cremation urns.
