Cloisonne Urns

Cloisonne urns for ashes are popular for their incredible artistry -- featuring bright colors, shimmering edges, and lovely designs. Cloisonne urns are made using the same artistic techniques used for hundreds of years to decorate metal works of art such as cloisonne vases. Thin wires or strips of metal make the underlying design and then enamel colors are added. Then the whole piece is fired in a kiln.

Cloisonne urns are lighter in weight when compared with brass or aluminum urns. The lids on cloisonne urns are not threaded but can be sealed in place using an adhesive.
