A pretty piece of remembrance jewelry, the Small Heart and Necklace for Ashes Pendant in Sterling Silver is handcrafted by a sterling silver artist. The style is simple yet contemporary and the more petite size is perfect for many women as it is not bulky, nor heavy. This pendant allows you to hold memories close through the interior cavity that can be filled with cremation ashes, a lock of hair, dried flowers, or sand/soil from a meaningful place. An 18 inch sterling chain in a delicate rope chain design holds the heart pendant at a medium length. The bail must be sealed properly using the adhesive that is provided before it can be worn.  The adhesive instructions should be followed very carefully. We do not recommend wearing this piece while showering, swimming, exercising, or sleeping as this can increase exposure to moisture which can expedite the tarnishing process and degrade the adhesive that keeps ashes secure inside the pendant.
