This biodegradable urn is designed to break down in water. It is constructed using a two-step process that uses recycled cardboard and organic paper derived from the bark of the mulberry tree. Using a sustainable system, the bark is harvested while allowing the tree to continue to grow and thrive. No trees are cut down to produce this urn.

A water-soluble bag is included. Cremated remains are placed into the bag, then into the Journey Earthurn Biodegradable Urn. The urn is accessed from the side and folds closed with a sturdy paper band wrapped around it to keep it in the closed position.
