Journey Biodegradable Urn - Fern

A popular and meaningful choice for water burial, the Journey Earthurn Biodegradable Urn in Fern Embossed is designed to be set adrift at sea. Made of handcrafted paper, Journey Earthurn Biodegradable Urn will float briefly, sink gracefully to the bottom and break down naturally over time. The fern style choice is soft green in color and has an embossed (raised) fern pattern decorating the urn.

This biodegradable urn is designed to biodegrade in water. It is constructed using a two-step process that uses recycled cardboard and organic paper derived from the bark of the mulberry tree. Using a sustainable system, the bark is harvested while allowing the tree to continue to grow and thrive. No trees are cut down to produce this urn.

Given its handcrafted nature, the urn may vary slightly in size, shape, and appearance from the image displayed.

A water-soluble bag is included. Cremated remains are placed into the bag, then into the Journey Earthurn Biodegradable Urn. The urn is accessed from the side and folds closed with a sturdy paper band wrapped around it to keep it in the closed position.
