Once you arrive at the desired scattering location, the lid of the scattering tube can be slipped off. You will see a perforated area to push to create an opening in the top. Then the ashes can be gently shaken from the tube over the ground or water according to the person's wishes. When all ashes have been scattered, the tube can be recycled. Instructions are provided.
