Designed to hold a single cremation urn that is intended for burial, the Crowne Urn Vault Single - Gray is a sturdy container. Any type of urn can be placed in the vault (wood, ceramic, brass, etc.). Other small mementos can be included in this container if desired. A typical metal urn would be placed on its side in the vault as shown in the image. A water-tight adhesive is provided to seal the urn within the vault.

Many cemeteries require the use of an urn vault to protect the urn and its contents from the elements as well as from possible damage from heavy cemetery equipment. The domed lid adds an additional 2.5" of height.

The urn vault is constructed of a high tech polymer to maximize strength and durability and has been tested to withstand 4,300 lbf (pounds of top load pressure). The color is a mottled gray pattern meant to look like granite. The vault will not corrode or deteriorate. Made in USA.
